Milo Manara Angela Variant Cover & Skottie Young’s Kid Angela “Guardians” Variant

Angela is ready to make her mark on the Marvel Universe.

Angela’s first major appearance will take place in the upcoming GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY #5, and Marvel has just released a variant cover to the issue drawn by Milo Manara. Below that is the variant for “Guardians of the Galaxy” #5, this time drawn by Skottie Young in his popular kids style.

Even Skottie Young can’t make Angela’s costume look less ridiculous. Cute, though.

Manara’s looks OK, except from making her look more sexploitative than other drawings of her, especially with the open mouth. I do not like Milo Manara’s art. His X-Women a few years back was hideous.

Funny the mouth was the first thing I noticed as well, couldn’t help but wonder how many mouths he’s seen that looks like that.

It’s the only ways he knows how to draw mouths, I think.
