Biggest Smarta$$es In Comics

Smarta$$es, don’t you just love them? See which ones we think are the best of the best, depending on your view on best.

Although a compassionate humanist who struggles to overcome the influence of both Heaven and Hell over humanity and despite his occasional forays into heroism, Constantine is a foul-mouthed, disillusioned, British cynic who pursues a life of sorcery and danger. If there’s one thing to know about John before meeting him, you don’t trust a single word he says. Manipulative and speaks out of greed, he is as bad as they come in his own way. Again emphasis on the foul-mouth too, that is no joke.

This one comes as no surprise and don’t lie to yourself that it isn’t true. While not much of one as Bruce Wayne, the Batman persona is one that almost screams out smartass. A loner, pretty over-confident in his skill and has the audacity to plan out how to deal with all his own teammates if they ever defected. Let’s not forget that his greatest weapon against most is intimidation, I mean come on, for a man who is seen as just a man, you must have a stick up your ass to intimidate someone who could vaporize you with little effort.

Emma Frost

Emma Frost

Or in other words, The Cold Hearted Bitch, is one of the most hated for her attitude. There is not one single hero out there who has had an encounter with Emma that hasn’t wanted to punch her in the face after meeting her. Emma is witty, yet not afraid to let her opinion be known either about your intellect or appearance. If you have to think of choking her to shut her up then do so in private because she probably already knows what you wanna do before you do it.

A speedster and like all speedsters is just as mouthy if not more than the rest. And to make it more interesting a speedster who is also a scientist, that’s a combo that can only lead to conversations that end in you wanted to break the guys legs and sewing his mouth shut. The Flash is a witty guy who is always steps ahead in actions, reactions and jokes, the comedic factor of the JLA who you can’t help but love despite how irritating he can be to the rest.

deadpool call me

If you didn’t think this gu would make it to your list then you must be kidding yourself. The Merc With a Mouth lives up to his name every time he takes center stage. Deadpool’s brand of humor is unlike most as he like many others says whatever he wants with little care for the consequences, not that anyone could do something about it seeing as you can’t kill him. This is one psychopath who kills for fun, and while his multitude of weapons will hurt, his jokes hurt worse.

The demon summoned from hell who was raised to fight for mankind. While that may be true, doesn’t mean he follows the same rules as mankind. Hellboy plays by his own rules, he likes the glorification for what he does and lets no one stand in his way of making that happen. All a guy can ask for is recognition and to have his way, but Hell boy does so with the attitude of one who would rather punch you or anything living in the face before listening.

The Coon

The Coon is the vigilante of South Park. Fueled by jealousy of the more popular Mysterion, The Coon has taken on an aggressive persona as he hands out his own brand of justice. He is generally “the symbol this town needs”, yet the one they don’t deserve because he kinda sucks at what he does. Either way The Coon finds his way among the many smartasses because he is Eric Cartman under the mask and there is no bigger asshole to compare.

Iron Man

A hero who was created to be an asshole that we all would hate but couldn’t help but love. That right there is an accomplishment right there. Tony Stark is the genius billionaire playboy philanthropist and he has no problem letting the world know that. The man who prides himself in glory more than pride, this man of metal has a bark to match his bite and is the a**hole you root for no matter the circumstance.

superior spider-man

The wise-cracking web-slinger, Spider-Man. The one hero who has more villains than you could ever imagine. Why might you ask? You spend five minutes with the guy and see if you like his jokes. You might want to punch him, but good luck catching him. Spider-Man’s style of fighting involves him throwing you off guard, mainly by striking every nerve you have to force you to make a mistake. While he does this mostly to his enemies he can’t help but do the same to other heroes too. Let’s not forget he’s now Otto, who is even more so a smartass that you wonder how he is still breathing at this very moment. Takes having an ego and being the most arrogant genius to a whole new level.

human torch m

Johnny Storm

Shocking how a team of scientists mostly also includes this hot head. A ladies man with a fiery temper, Johnny Storm is as snarky as they come. The smooth talker who always has something to say, if it’s not for his benefit then Johnny will most likely write it off as a joke. All fun and games till he says the wrong thing to end up in a mess of trouble, or get the people around him in trouble as well. Between his constant jokes to never taking a mission seriously, it’s no wonder The Thing always wants to knock his block off.
