Didn’t turn out to be as much of a rant on the subject, but even so here is what I think of Ultimate X-Men’s worth in the Ultimate Marvel Universe when that comes into question with the assumption of this world’s inevitable demise.

i don’t think that ultimate marvel is ending. i think the current roster of the ultimates may meet their demise fighting galactus but uxm and usm will survive

I share the same belief. Both books show too much promise for the future to end like that as to the Ultimates book.

to me cataclysm will be to the ultimates what ultimatum did to the mutants and the fantastic four, a devastating event in which heroes died.

Makes me feel sorry for that team because it’s been an uphill fight for them that hasn’t allowed them much time to breathe.
