Bryan Singer reveals some new details about X-Men: Days of Future Past and confirmed others.
First, Scarlet Witch will not be present in the film, which would possibly making Quicksilver, played by Evan Peters, an only child. Odd approach when they actually have room to make connections to Magneto and do so properly while Avengers can’t associate them as mutants. Cyclops won’t be returning for this film, which I guess is alright given we didn’t see him die or a proper portrayal of his character in the trilogy.
Then he also revealed why we see Charles alive again at the end of The Wolverine. Apparently, “he transferred his consciousness and could possibly construct a body around that consciousness.” Make of it what you will though I would say this seems like a cop out of using a different body all together. Some say it makes things clearer, but for a telepath, that only confuses the situation even more.
Coming to theaters on May 23, 2014 is X-Men: Days of Future Past.
