The comic Cataclysm #0.1. is seen solicited from Marvel for October with an unknown creative team and a unknown description.
It seems as though this issue maybe the introduction to the event which should be something worth picking up knowing that Cataclysm marks the end of the normal Ultimate lines as everything is then marked as tied into the Cataclysm event.
While the description is mostly unknown, Marvel has let retailers know that Cataclysm #0.1 is, at least, written by Joshua Hale Fialkov, with a cover by Paul Renard. Joshua Hale Fialkov says it’s one of his favorite scripts this year and he really hope you guys check it out. Also hints at It having a favorite unseen for a while character in it, and is a really dark, pretty story.

Don’t even get me started on them. The next person to tell me Ultimate X-Men isn’t worth keeping….

i think that a lot of people hate ultimate marvel because instead of developing the same status quo, this universe actually grows and you see characters grow up in unexpected ways (ultimate reed Richards is a good example). you rarely see that in comics today. also the fact that all animated series from marvel do NOT adapt story arcs from 2000-till now reflects on how those stories have sucked in the long run (civil war). that movie nick fury is based on ultimate nick fury is no coincidence.

Exactly, that is the exact reason why I’ve come to like and appreciate the Ultimate Universe so much.
