We have chosen this panel from The Shadow #17. This is one of those defining moments for the series, not only because of this confrontation, but for the fact that there is so much emphasis on what justice means to The Light and The Shadow. Both are fighting for what they believe is to be the true meaning of it and fight as to who serves on the right side of it. It’s a conflict of interest that creates a very intense atmosphere whenever they cross paths.
